18th TOKYO International Great Quilt Festival

 Contest: Japan Quilt Grand Prix

This prestigious contest attracts entries from a wide range of quilters, both amateur and professional, from Japan and around the world.
This year, contests are being held in seven categories including the newly added “Youth” category for artists aged 16 through 19. Also, Machine quilting and Heartwarming prizes are added.

From among 1,246 entries, 290 works have been chosen for display at the Festival. Their names will be announced on the Festival’s opening day.

The seven categories Traditional, Original, Wa, Frame Quilt, Bag, Youth, and Junior.
Prizes Japan Quilt Grand Prix, Second-place Japan Quilt Grand Prix, Handmade Quilt Prize, and Machine Quilting Prize, First through third places awarded in each category, Judge Award, Heartwarming Award, Corporate Award, and Encouragement Award.
