This prestigious contest attracts entries from a wide range of quilters, both amateur and professional, from Japan and around the world.

From among 1,122 entries, about 300 works have been chosen for display at the Festival. Their names will be announced on the Festival’s opening day.

The seven
Traditional, Original, Wa, Frame Quilt, Bag, Youth, and Junior.
Prizes: Japan Quilt Grand Prix, Second-place Japan Quilt Grand Prix, Handmade Quilt Prize, and Machine Quilting Prize, First through third places awarded in each category, Judge Award, Heartwarming Award, Corporate Award, and Encouragement Award.
