From Saturday, October 31 to Sunday, December 13, 2020, a "BEST of YUSUKE NAKAMURA" exhibition will be held for popular illustrator Yusuke Nakamura, who is known for designing CD jackets for rock band ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, as well as the book covers for "Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de" and "The Night Is Short, Walk on Girl."
This traveling exhibition will include works from the "15 The Very Best of Yusuke Nakamura" exhibit held in Osaka, Ikebukuro, Nagoya, and Fukuoka to commemorate the artist's 15th year being active, along with a number of new additions for a total of more than 300 art pieces, making for the artist's largest exhibition to date.
This large-scale exhibition brings together most projects that Yusuke Nakamura has worked on to date, with the addition of multiple new works (pieces) as well. The "Yusuke Nakamura 2021 Calendar," which features never-before-seen illustrations including for the cover, will be a new addition to the original art corner, as well as completed works, line drawings, and rough sketches. In addition, visitors will receive a free mask case as a bonus featuring a new illustration by Yusuke Nakamura of the mysterious spirit said to subdue pandemics, "Amabie,". Exclusive merchandise will also be on sale.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, this exhibition will take appropriate measures including limiting entry, improving ventilation, thorough disinfecting (of hands and the venue), social distancing, checking temperatures, enforcing the wearing of masks, collecting information about visitors, prohibiting staff from working when they feel ill, etc. Please read this policy before visiting.

Free entry is allowed for one caretaker per each individual with a physical disability certificate. The individual will be charged admission (ticket required) based on the recognition that they are the one visiting the exhibit.

About Yusuke Nakamura
Born in 1978, he is an illustrator from Hyogo prefecture. He graduated from Osaka University of Arts’ Design Department.
He has designed CD jackets for ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION and Masashi Sada, as well as book covers for “”Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de,” “The Night Is Short, Walk on Girl,” and music textbooks. His art books “Blue” and “NOW” have recorded sales of 130,000 copies.
A variety of event-exclusive merchandise will be on sale! Visitors without tickets can also enter the merchandise corner.
The Yusuke Nakamura 2021 Calendar will also be on sale! Based on requests from fans after the 2020 calendar, a desk calendar has been created for the first time. The 2021 calendar is sure to delight customers, whichever style they display it in, as this is the first dual wall + desk calendar. (To use it as a desk calendar, the customer will need to prop it up and tear out each page.) The calendar also comes with a custom folder. Enjoy this one calendar in two different ways!

To promote the safety and wellbeing of our customers during this event, we will be taking the following measures. Thank you for your cooperation.
We have staff wash their hands, gargle, and disinfect their hands frequently.
Staff members wear masks or face shields when attending to visitors.
We have staff check their temperatures before and during work, and we don’t let them work if they feel ill.
We regularly disinfect and clean areas frequently touched by staff and visitors, including door handles and doorknobs, both before and during operating hours.
We ventilate the venue appropriately with an internal air conditioning system that circulates air in from the outside.
We pay attention to the venue environment by monitoring and limiting the number of people inside the venue at any given time.
Please wash your hands, gargle, and use hand sanitizer frequently. Please use the hand sanitizers located at the venue entrance, exit, and inside the venue.
For visitors 2 years of age and above, please wear a mask when visiting and viewing the exhibition.
We will refuse entry to visitors who have a temperature of 37.5 degrees or higher.
Please comply with social distancing while waiting to be admitted, inside the venue, and at the merchandise corner.
Please refrain from physical contact with other customers or talking in a loud voice while viewing the exhibition and while in line.
If you have experienced extreme fatigue, body aches, trouble breathing, or even light coughing or a sore throat, have within the past two weeks received a medical exam or medication for a fever or cold, traveled overseas, or been in close contact with persons as listed above, please refrain from visiting the exhibit.
