Facility initiatives Facility initiatives

Increased ventilation capacity

Tokyo Dome is designed with extremely high ventilation performance, as it is constantly taking in and expelling large amounts of fresh outside air.
In addition, we are currently strengthening our countermeasures by ventilating the room at 1.5 times the normal level.

Disinfection of seating areas

After each match, seats and other frequently touched surfaces will be disinfected.

Additional toilets and hand washing facilities

In order to further improve convenience and alleviate congestion, we have significantly expanded the number of women's restrooms and hand washing areas.

Our Initiative Our Initiative

We want you to sit down in your seat as quickly as possible and experience the excitement of being at the stadium. We want you to enjoy the precious time you spend with the people watching the game with you for even one more second. The digital transformation (DX) of the Yomiuri Giants and Tokyo Dome was started with this idea in mind. We will continue to take various measures to alleviate as much as possible the stress of waiting times and the anxiety of the risk of contracting COVID-19.

Simulated droplet test The test involves emitting simulated droplets equivalent to those produced by coughing or sneezing from a device representing a visitor in the spectator seats inside the venue, and then visualizing them with a laser beam to confirm the spread of the droplets.
The test results confirmed once again that masks, when worn correctly, are effective in reducing the spread of droplets.
