Tokyo Dome is designed with extremely high ventilation performance, as it is constantly taking in and expelling large amounts of fresh outside air.

The digital transformation (DX) of the Yomiuri Giants and Tokyo Dome was started with this idea in mind. The Yomiuri Shimbun, the Yomiuri Giants, and Tokyo Dome, with the cooperation of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) and others, will continue to conduct surveys at professional Baseball games at Tokyo Dome to prevent infection and evaluate the effectiveness of measures taken by Tokyo Dome, and will use the results to make Tokyo Dome safer for hosting professional Baseball games and events.

In consideration of the environment, restaurants and cafes in Tokyo Dome use biodegradable straws and plastic bags that contain 25% biomass materials. In various places in Tokyo Dome, there are trash bins with reinforced sorting signs, such as recycling stations, to promote recycling.
