August is the season for the Perseid meteor shower, one of the three major meteor showers.
Have you ever wondered why shooting stars glow, or what we can learn from observing them?
To coincide with the Perseid meteor shower, Space Travelium TeNQ will be hosting an event in collaboration with the space startup company ALE Inc.
Learn about the science of shooting stars in a fun workshop and get your hands on a piece of a shooting star!
Also, there are many stars that are easy to spot in the August night sky. We'll talk about how to observe meteor showers and what to look for in the August night sky, while you get to use a real telescope.

"TeNQ Astronomy Club" is a workshop at Space Travelium TeNQ that introduces the stars and constellations visible on any given day, and offers stargazing and learning opportunities using astronomical telescopes.
