『昆虫記』を執筆したアンリ・ファーブルが2023年に生誕200周年を迎えることを記念して、
「ファーブルに学ぶ！体感する昆虫展 TOKYO」を開催します。

ひと一倍つよい好奇心を持って自然を愛した、昆虫研究の先駆者アンリ・ファーブル。

本展では、どんな苦難にも学びの意欲を失わず、自分の目で見た確かな事実しか信じないゆるぎない精神と、豊かな感受性を持ち合わせたファーブルの人生をたどります。

About the Exhibition

＜見どころポイント＞

ファーブル『昆虫記』にちなんだ昆虫標本や、ファーブルの遺品の数々など、ここでしか見られないみどころが満載！ファーブル『昆虫記』を代表するスカラベ、オオクジャクヤママユ、ヌリハナバチの研究を詳しく解説し、昆虫たちのフシギに迫ります。

＜体感ポイント＞

自分が昆虫の目線になって体感する「スカラベの巨大ふん玉」や「ヌリハナバチ迷路」など、ファーブル『昆虫記』の世界をお楽しみいただけます。

さらに、全長約3ｍの巨大な昆虫ロボットが登場する「巨大昆虫の森」、ヘラクレスオオカブト、コーカサスオオカブト、ギラファノコギリクワガタをはじめとする人気昆虫が大集結する「昆虫の生体展示」、生きたクワガタやカブトムシに触れる「昆虫ふれあいの森」などの体感型人気コンテンツも盛りだくさんです。

ガシャポン『いきもの大図鑑』とコラボ展示

会場内の、ヘラクレスオオカブトをはじめ人気の昆虫生体を展示する「昆虫の生体展示」エリアにて、生きものの体の仕組みを忠実に再現した『いきもの大図鑑シリーズ』の「かぶとむし」や「くわがた」フィギュアを展示します。昆虫生体と同じ『いきもの大図鑑』フィギュアを並べて展示することで、生体の構造をよりわかりやすく観察することができます。また、会場内では『いきもの大図鑑』のガシャポンも販売します。

株式会社バンダイがカプセル自販機「ガシャポン」で販売する『いきもの大図鑑シリーズ』は、2018年8月に発売した「だんごむし」を皮切りに、「かめ」や「アルマジロトカゲ」などの爬虫類から、「すずめばち」「くわがた」「かまきり」などの昆虫まで色々な生きものの体の仕組みを忠実に再現し、その生態を理解することができるエデュケーショナルフィギュアシリーズです。幅広いお客様から支持を集めており、シリーズ累計販売数500万個を突破した大人気商品です。

親子で楽しめる昆虫ワークショップ開催！

昆虫をテーマにしたワークショップが登場！昆虫展を見た後は、ワークショップでさらに楽しもう！夏休みの自由研究やお土産にもぴったりな4種類のワークショップを実施します。なお、ワークショップは展覧会チケットをお持ちでない方もご利用いただけます。

道具を使って、砂の塊の中に埋まっている昆虫を発掘できます。

③段ボールで作る大迫力昆虫！　1,000円

段ボールシートからパーツを取り外し、組み立てて好きな色を塗り、大迫力のオリジナルカラーの昆虫が作れます。

「Hi!EVERYVALLEY」では、エリア内にイラストで描かれたいろいろな昆虫を設置。スマートフォンを使って昆虫採集を楽しめます。さらに、決められた昆虫を探し出して採集するとプレゼントがもらえます。

スポドリ！ ボルダリング夏休み企画　期間限定「キッズゾーン」で遊ぼう！

黄色いビル3Fにある屋内型スポーツ施設「スポドリ！」では、人気の「ボルダリング」に期間限定でキッズゾーンが登場します。ボルダリング壁に設置された「昆虫」や「動物」や「野球のバット」等を掴みながらゴールまで登りきると、秘密の小窓に隠れている「何か」を見つけられます。さらに、本イベントの参加者には参加賞 をプレゼントします。
また、期間中は『ファーブルに学ぶ！体感する昆虫展TOKYO』のチケット提示（半券でも可）でボルダリング利用料が500円引きになります。

When holding an event, we will implement the following measures to prevent the spread of infection to ensure the safety and security of our customers. We appreciate your cooperation.

• We have installed vinyl sheets at ticket and merchandise registers to prevent droplet infection.
• When lining up at the reception desk, we have placed footprint stickers so that you can maintain a safe distance from the person in front of you.
• When transferring money at the cash register, we will use a coin tray to avoid direct contact with your hands. Please note that coin trays will be disinfected regularly.
• We recommend cashless payment by credit card or electronic payment.​ ​​ ​​ ​ ​ ​​ ​  

• At busy times, you may have to obtain a numbered ticket issued at the venue and wait in the general admission queue. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
• When using the restroom, please shut the toilet seat lid before flushing.

• When throwing away your mask, please put it in a plastic bag, seal it, and put it in the trash. If you need a plastic bag, please ask the staff.

■ About the venue

• Please do not touch the exhibits, display cases, walls, etc.
• You can take photos and videos inside the venue, but please refrain from using flash, tripods, and selfie sticks. When taking photos or videos, please be considerate of other customers and follow staff instructions.
• Please set your mobile phone to silent mode and refrain from talking on the phone inside the venue.
• Eating, drinking, and smoking inside the venue are strictly prohibited.
• Visitors under the influence of alcohol are strictly prohibited.
• Staff may take photos and videos at the venue. Please note that the photos and images taken may be used for promotional materials for future events.
• Items with long handles, such as umbrellas and selfie sticks, are not to be brought into the venue. *Umbrella stands are available at the venue.
• Large luggage such as roller bags cannot be brought into the venue. Please use the coin lockers outside the venue.
• No pets are allowed (except guide dogs, service dogs, and hearing dogs).
• Strollers and wheelchairs are allowed inside the venue, but they cannot be kept. Also, we may ask you to refrain from using strollers when the area is crowded.
• Wheelchair users and people with physical disabilities may be given priority admission at the discretion of staff.
• There are no parking discounts for admission fees or product purchases.
• Early morning arrivals on the day of admission and queuing from the night before are strictly prohibited.
