Summer 2026 will be packed with workshops and events themed around "space"!
We look forward to your participation.

◇ALE x TeNQ "Enjoy the Universe! Shooting Star Workshop and Stargazing Class"

August is the season for the Perseid meteor shower. Learn in a fun workshop about why shooting stars glow, what you can learn from observing them, and even get your hands on a fragment of a shooting star! The August night sky is also full of stars that are easy to spot. We'll talk about how to observe meteor showers and what to look for in the night sky in August, while you get to use a real telescope.

Precautions	The interactive planetarium show "Shooting Stars with Your Smartphone" requires the use of a smartphone. If children are participating, please use the parent's smartphone.

About ALE Co., Ltd.

This space startup is creating the world's first "artificial meteor shower." Through space entertainment that stimulates people's curiosity and the collection of atmospheric data that helps unravel climate change, they are creating new value from both the "entertainment" and "science" perspectives. Driven by a passionate desire to "contribute to the advancement of science," they aim to bring science and society closer together and "make space a familiar part of our culture."

◇Workshop: "Let's make planetary models that allow you to compare sizes!"

We will hold a workshop where you can make models of the eight planets in our solar system. Draw patterns on models that are the size of each planet and paint pictures on the background to create your own planet model.

Precautions	Due to the small parts, children under the age of 2 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

◇Workshop: "Let's make a Planet Marble-themed pin badge!"

We'll be holding a workshop where you can create planet-like marble patterns on drawing paper using the marbling technique. Cut out your favorite patterns into circles and turn them into original button badges.

◇Workshop: "Let's make a 'Granular Space Bottle'!"

We're holding a workshop where you can create colorful dots and make fantastical bottles. Choose to make a two-color space bottle with dots, or a four-color space bottle with an astronaut figurine inside.

◇Workshop: "Let's make resin accessories!"

We will be holding a workshop where you can make original accessories using resin. Choose your favorite style from straps, badges, or hairpins, and create your own unique accessory, from coloring to choosing stickers.

◇YouTube "Live Stream of Observing the Traditional Tanabata Night Sky Through a Telescope"

We'll be observing the starry sky through a telescope from "Space Travelium TeNQ" in Tokyo Dome City. In addition to viewing the moon, we'll explore summer stars and nebulae, and talk about constellations and stars. Our guest will be Tsukigami Ichi (new astronaut VTuber and TeNQ official ambassador)!

◇Special online lecture by Professor Hitoshi Murayama

理論物理学者の村山斉氏による特別講演を、オンラインにて配信いたします。村山斉氏は、宇宙におけるダークマターやダークエネルギーの研究、そして標準モデルを超える素粒子物理など、幅広いトピックスを研究しています。講演テーマは「ダークマター」。光では観測できない正体不明の物質ですが、宇宙にある星や銀河を生み出したと考えられています。そんなダークマターは、素粒子の仲間ではないかと考えられており、現在も理論と観測の両方で多くの研究がされています。今回はダークマターについて、最先端の研究も含めてご講演いただきます。

Title	母なるダークマターは見つかったのか？
Content	Everything around us is made of atoms, but more than 80% of the matter in the universe is an unknown substance called dark matter. Without this dark matter, stars, galaxies, and even ourselves would not have been born, so I think of it as my "long-lost mother." Researchers all over the world are competing to be the first to "meet" dark matter. Recently, there was an announcement that they "may have seen dark matter." Has dark matter been found? I will talk about the cutting edge of this research.
Speaker	Hitoshi Murayama (Professor, Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (Kavli IPMU), University of Tokyo) A theoretical physicist, he has studied a wide range of topics, including dark matter and dark energy in the universe and particle physics beyond the standard model. He is cooperating as the general supervisor and advisor of "Space Travelium TeNQ". His many books include "What is the Universe Made of?" (Gentosha, 2010) and "Why is the Universe Beautiful?" [For Summer Vacation] Online Special Lecture (Rebroadcast)

In conjunction with this special lecture, we will be rebroadcasting all six online special lectures by Professor Murayama. You can learn about the results of modern astronomy, including the solar system, galaxies, and the beginning of the universe, in an easy-to-understand way, even if you are a beginner. There will also be a discussion about dark matter, so please take this opportunity to watch them as preparation!
