We will be streaming a special lecture by theoretical physicist Hitoshi Murayama online!
Dr. Hitoshi Murayama researches a wide range of topics, including dark matter and dark energy in the universe, as well as elementary particle physics beyond the Standard Model.
The lecture topic is "dark matter." It is an unidentified substance that cannot be observed with light, but it is thought to have given rise to stars and galaxies in the universe. Dark matter is thought to be a type of elementary particle, and much research is currently being conducted on it, both theoretically and observationally. This lecture will cover dark matter, including cutting-edge research.
