The "Korakuen Hall 60th Anniversary Celebration" was held.

Korakuen Hall has been used for a variety of events, including professional wrestling, boxing, and kickboxing, and has become known as a mecca for martial arts as it has seen many famous matches.

To commemorate the 60th anniversary of its opening, Tokyo Dome Corporation hosted its first professional wrestling tournament, "Korakuen Hall 60th Anniversary 60th Birthday Festival," over two days on April 15th and 16th, 2022.

April 15th: 60th Birthday Celebration "Women's Pro-Wrestling Dream Festival"

9 women's professional wrestling organizations will participate/26 wrestlers making their Korakuen Hall debut!

A total of nine matches were held across the boundaries of various organizations. Of the 44 wrestlers, 26, more than half, made their debut at Korakuen Hall. It was a spectacular dream festival.
The main event was titled the Extremely Wicked 60th Birthday Celebration, and featured the dangerous unit formed by Ozaki Mayumi and Yukihi Maya of OZ Academy and Oedo Tai Starlight Kid of STAR DOM.

A dream exchange match between NEW JAPAN PRO-WRESTLING and ALL JAPAN PRO-WRESTLING celebrating their 50th anniversaries!

NEW JAPAN PRO-WRESTLING and ALL JAPAN PRO-WRESTLING celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2022. Wrestlers from both organizations participated in a total of six matches. Of the total 30 wrestlers, 14 were making their Korakuen Hall debut.
The main event was the formation of an ace tag team between Hiroshi Tanahashi NEW JAPAN PRO-WRESTLING Wrestling and Kento Miyahara ALL JAPAN PRO-WRESTLING, who made their debut Korakuen Hall.

Korakuen Hall for martial arts

It opened on April 16, 1962. Originally it was a bowling hall.
The hall was called "Korakuen Gymnasium" and was Japan's first blackout hall. The opening show was the "Hochi Dynamic Globe" and the following year in 1967 it was renamed "Korakuen Hall."
The number of martial arts events held here each year is approximately 250 professional wrestling events and 100 boxing events. In addition, martial arts events such as MMA and kickboxing are held almost every day.

In addition to martial arts, he is also famous for appearing on the TV show Recording for the TV show 「SHO-TEN」.
The first professional wrestling event was held in Japan on November 26, 1966. The main event was a three-match match between Giant Baba and Luis Hernandez.
ALL JAPAN PRO-WRESTLING held its first event on November 6, 1972. NEW JAPAN PRO-WRESTLING held its first event on July 6, 1973. The first women's wrestling event was All Japan Women's Pro Wrestling on May 28, 1973.
Over its long history, it has been used by many organizations, hosting legendary matches and memorable events for fans, and is beloved as a venue that is close to its customers.
