2012年度東京ドームMVP賞が決定！

Every year, Tokyo Dome Corporation presents the Tokyo Dome MVP Award to the player from the Yomiuri Giants, whose franchise is the Tokyo Dome Dome, who has performed most outstandingly in official games at Tokyo Dome. This year's winner is Abe Shinnosuke.

Abe recorded the team's highest batting average, home runs, and RBIs at Tokyo Dome, and led the team on both offense and defense as captain.

The awards ceremony was held at the Suite Restaurants inside Tokyo Dome on November 5th, and Abe was presented with a prize of 3 million yen by our President and CEO, Shinji Hisayo.

In addition, we presented the "Tokyo Dome MVP Special Award" to Tetsuya Yamaguchi with the hope that he will perform even better next season and beyond. Yamaguchi pitched in 38 of the 64 games at Tokyo Dome and contributed to many victories, which is why he was awarded the award.

Yamaguchi was awarded a prize of 1 million yen.

This is our second consecutive award, but we are even happier this year to have become number one in Japan.
I've played at Tokyo Dome for 12 years, and have experienced both good and bad things there. It's the stadium I'm most attached to. I'll do my best to win this award next season and beyond.
