2019年度東京ドームMVP賞が決定！

（Tokyo Dome presents the Tokyo Dome MVP Award every year to the player from the Yomiuri Giants team based in Tokyo Dome who has achieved the most outstanding performance in the season's official games held at Tokyo Dome. The Tokyo Dome MVP Award for 2019 will be presented to Hayato Sakamoto.

The award ceremony was held at the Suite Restaurants inside Tokyo Dome on October 8th, and Tokyo Dome presented Sakamoto with a prize of 3 million yen.

I'm very happy to receive this award in the year we won the championship. Tokyo Dome is a comfortable place to play Baseball in a great environment, which I think led to our good results. Also, the most memorable thing this year was hitting my 40th home run in Abe's commemorative game. I'll do my best to win the award again next year, so that I don't lose to such great players.
