This is my third time receiving this award, and my first in five years, and I am very happy and honored that we were able to achieve such great results at our home stadium, Tokyo Dome, and that our team has also become number one in Japan. This season, I was particularly impressed by my 50th home run in the last game at Tokyo Dome, and by hitting the ball into the ceiling twice, a historic first feat.
I am proud to have been able to play at Tokyo Dome for the past 10 years, with the support of all my fans. I would like to use the experience I have gained so far to do my best in the future, so I would appreciate your continued support.

Tokyo Dome MVP Award is one of the awards I aim for, and I am very happy to have won it for four consecutive years. Tokyo Dome is a very comfortable stadium to play in, and I think I was able to become the batting champion because of my good performance at Tokyo Dome. I would like to use the 3 million yen prize money to create something that will be remembered as the batting champion.
Next year will be the last year for the Nippon Ham Fighters to call Tokyo Dome their home ground, but we will do our best as a team to win the championship, so we would appreciate your support.
