2010年度東京ドームMVP賞が決定！

Every year, Tokyo Dome Corporation presents the Tokyo Dome MVP Award to one player from the Yomiuri Giants, whose franchise is the Tokyo Dome Tokyo Dome who has performed most outstandingly in official games at the Dome. Alex Ramirez has been selected as the 2010 recipient of the award.

Ramirez played in every game at Tokyo Dome, and led the team in hits, home runs, and RBIs, with a batting average of .331. He also led the team as the cleanup hitter, and contributed greatly to the team's victories with his strong hitting.

The awards ceremony was held on October 26th at the Suite Restaurants inside Tokyo Dome, and Ramirez was presented with a prize of 3 million yen by our President and CEO, Shinji Hisayo.

We presented the "Tokyo Dome MVP Rookie Special Award" to Hisayoshi Nagano with the hopes of seeing him achieve even greater things next season. He contributed to the team's victory with his tenacious batting and aggressive defense.

Nagano was awarded a special prize and a prize of 1 million yen. This marks the third consecutive year that a newcomer has been selected as the winner of the special rookie award, following Matsumoto last year.

I am very honored to receive the Tokyo Dome MVP Award.

I am very pleased to have had the opportunity to play in 64 games at Tokyo Dome this season, achieve good results, and perform in front of so many fans.

Although we fell just short this season and it is unfortunate that we ended up with a disappointing result, we gave it our all and we are grateful for the support of our fans.

Next year, I hope to win the championship and play on the Japan Series stage at Tokyo Dome.
